REPORT : Pune/Mumbai DRIVE to Mahableshwar - 30/09/07

Guys,

Now that we have had enough number of meets to sit and drink and make fun of me, lets set out for a drive to either of the following destinations:

1) Lavasa + Mulshi (lunch) (Approx 150 kms return)
2) Panchgani + Mahabaleshwar (Approx 250 kms return)
3) Lonvala + Amby Valley (Approx 180 kms return)

Please try not to alter the dates as far as possible. Let the suggestions come in. If you guys have any other options in mind then please suggest but ensure that you know the latest road conditions very well.

Panchgani sounds great, but 23rd is the Pune Festival Vintage car Rally, so count me out. Im in for any other sunday besides 9th and 23rd.

Sounds good! Am all game for this one! Couldn't make it to the meet the last time..but will make sure this time i am!

My vote goes to Mahabaleshwar + Panchgani!

When is Ganesh Chathurthi and the other holidays this season? We wouldn't want to encounter too much traffic or the holiday crowds.

I do lonavla every weekend, have done Mahabaleshwar+Panchgani quite a few times, have never been to Lavasa/Mulshi. So that gets my vote.

Also I might be out of town, havent decided when but will keep you guys posted.

people cannot make it on 30th because my in-law is visting and have to spend some time and show them around. That weekend I have to show them around.
