Anku, Rajesh, Gerard and i reached the place by around 6 a.m. as decided.
Appreciate gerard calling to say he would be 10 minutes late.
Brief conversation and we set off to chembur for fuel and air, while at the gas station we saw a few sbks go past, chalo nice we thought.
A few minutes to check air pressures and we were off, a few seconds stop at macs kahrghar and after that we rode to lonavla without a stop, plan was to get some grub at kamats and head back.
Anku's and my new tires were holding up well, taking long curves was getting fun now.
Reached kamats without a clue about what was going to greet us. Approach kamats and see the parking lot filled with imports, atleast 15 of them if not more, for a new age import enthusiast, it was heaven, the thane group and the south bbay group were there.
Carrying the camera today would have been nice.
Few introductions, and we're getting to food while the others are getting out to ride back.
Nice idli, dosa and chai with brief thing on gerard's last ride and we're off too.
I opened the throttle freely on the ride back, the bt 20s were doing a good job of taking corners, infact i find the ride back a tad simpler due to lesser blinders, anku is around me and surprisngly rajesh showed some intent of being a lil' more enthusiastic with gerard doing his steady best.
Crossed a couple of the bikes that had left before us, just then there was a crowd a few kms before panvel. A rider had hit the divider and had a minor fall, luckily there was no serious damage to thechap or his bike. Spent a while ther wating for help to arrive, and after a while the four of us took off to ride non-stop to mumbai baring a brief stop at the panvel bypass.
All in all, great ride, briliant weather; was quite chilly in the morning (time i got that jacket), even better company. To the next one guys
manson.
