Nice one i'd been once and the rate sounds reasonable too

Never thought I would live to see the day when Team-BHP north India meets in a Gourmet Gallery. I can see it now - you guys ordering a foie de gras with some mild crackers. Oh and may I have some truffles too? Thanks.
Let me try a bottle of 2002 Chilean Pinotage with that.

Hey Bhagwan!!

Yeah, right! By the way, are you coming, are you a drinker, have you voted on the poll?

Lets have some concrete feedback from all of you guys who are actually planning to come. Would be great if we have less of these "Taj is cheaper" comments which add no value IMHO. I'm sure we can order two prawn starters for that price somewhere else but does that help the overall cause? I would think not.

As I said, IMHO.

GD, lets add some value, shall we? It was always 650 plus, why are we talking 450-500 now? Lets get the show on the road, shall we?

I agree, amen!
I did say A la carte... and if 3-4 people are there..a veg dinner ..non-alcoholic dinner can be had for 750-800 per head.... and it was my IMO too u know... well thats beside the point...

More importantly IMO as per my past exp of meets and the age of the t bhp community in delhi most are college goers and students who im sure will not be willing to spend that much miney... lets have a meet where we can get equal participation from all members. Im afraid I cannot give much inout as to venues as im not much of a party animal ..but im sure there are more affordable places ....

I had never commented earlier on the cost factor. What was asked for was paid. My point was, why can't we finalise one place & time and be done away with.

My vote too is for Flames, but I can always swim along with and against the tide too..

Ok guys, sorry for being out of circulation for the weekend, I see that a lot has happened. Hmmm, So guys have we finalised a place yet? Coz the week is here.

By the way guys I have to say this, Went and checked out Arush's garage in gurgaon, man he has some vehicles there. Saw the famous Hummer, an MR2, A lancer with MIVEC engine and many more. If is start going into details I'd need a new thread. He also gave me a ride on the 3000 GTO, and wow, we hit a 135 in about 8-9 secs, approx. man, the backthrusts were amazing. WOOO.

By the way, Arush was mentioning something about the desert storm being flagged off on saturday, Y don't we guys try to fit that into our schedule, that would be something awesome to do as well. My 2 cents, but hey lemme not add to the confusion.

Hmmmm, not sure about this at least based on the last three meets that I attended.

Anyway, my opinion is that 650-750 is a good deal for food & unlimited liquor, its no point expecting this for 400 - if you have an amount in mind, why not come out with it. Lol. No point saying that you're sure there are more affordable prices if you don't have a benchmark in mind?

Girish, will await your update.
