I noticed 2 places on ECR now with some kind of dirt trail and ATV's .. One is close to Kart attack and one is just before Mahabs. I think there is a 3rd at Chariot Temple Bay. How about having a weekend meet and giving one of them a try ? or has anyone already visited ?

Vintage car rally is being held tomorrow(29th August) at Chennai.
Venue for Flag off: Don Bosco School, Egmore.
Time: 9.30 AM

Cars may break down on the rally. So, its better to catch them before the flag off.
I'll be there by ~9 AM.
All are welcome. Entry Free.

All the regulars should be there. Do join us.

We had a great meet today in the company of a whole lot of very beautiful vintage and classic cars.

There were even Team-BHPian participants in the rally.
* Member C.S.Ananth brought close to TEN vintage vehicles including a riley
* Member Jai3033 brought 3 vintage and classic vehicles including a Chevrolet 1935 woody
* Member Dussey brought a few from his collection
* Hyderabad member DKG was present in a traditional attire for the award winning entry.

Members and the cars the vehicles that joined the meet:
1. Godseed1970 - Baleno
2. Headers + daughter - RWD Honda
3. Madan99 - 24 speed RWD
4. DerJunge
5. Acidkill
6. hirevbg - Dzire
7. jagxf - tag along

I had a 'quickie' with Nitrous and jagxf near the Anna flyover this morning. My first 'random' meeting with a TBHP-ian(s).

jagxf: My wife was rather shocked at the bike-like 'cut' you made after the Teynampet signal. lol My kid expected to see 'Baby Jaguar' from the Diego series, so she was disappointed yours was just a car.

Did you guys hit ECR?

Did I ever tell you guys that the garage next to mine is home for Vintage cars that get rejuvenated?? Right now, a 1950's Benz is in there - have a seen a Morris, and Peugeot (not the 309!) there too earlier.

The left is my baby's nest - the right is what am talking about...

@gilead: no we did not hit ecr,the road till tidel park was more than enough for my passenger to freak out! lol
