I am in, please post the plan
everyone is ready, but no is giving any date...lets do it on 25th May, Saturday evening at 7 PM .
Venue can either be Flames or Cafe Morrison, can someone request a 'friendly' mod to put a poll between
1. Pay as you go - i.e. Flames
2. Packaged Deal - i.e. Cafe Morrison

25th is a Sunday.....if its going to be in South Delhi, why not do it on a Friday evening (23rd)? I would prefer a package deal but am willing to get fleeced in a "pay as you go" if thats what the majority would prefer

So 3 for Packaged now, 0 for Pay as you go...but please remember we need a gathering of atleast 15 members before we can go for Packaged one..

there is this place :
we can park our cars, bring our own booze and have a bite with good service - right in the heart of delhi.
if you guys are interested in an outdoor meet we can definitely look at this venue and it will work out cheaper than any other place we could think of.

No, not the kiosks behind the theatre that was, but another place.

As long as it aint a shady place .. roadside drinking in Delhi in a group of 15-20 ppl -- I don't think we could get away without the cops showing up and spoiling the party unless its on a private property . Also I think its too hot for being outside with the mosquitoes stinging away .

It seems you guys haven't read the latest riot act. Drinking in open is not allowed. A thou for the first offence and then subsequently 3K + 3 months of 'chakki peesing, & chakki peesing'....

Bingo! Was there last night, the van guy has a setting with the cops, no one gets caught/stopped there,,, there were atleast 8 groups there.
He even lays out a table and stuff.

I know about it for a very long time, however its good for maximum 4 or maybe 5 people...not with our kind of crowd...
Its asking for trouble. I could have suggested the chanakya as well, I have been going there for 8 years, without any trouble, however for an event that is organized on the web, and people coming from all walks of life, to do it somewhere illegal is not done..!! that is my 2 cents, lets see what other members feel..
I too would prefer a packaged deal. If we can finalise a date (will ask someone to put up a poll) Girish/Me can talk to a few places & see whether we can get a deal like last time or something better this time around.
