Dubai Micro Mini Meet 05 July 2008

None of my visits out of town are ever complete if I dont call and catch up with atleast one Team Bhpian. Dubai was no exception, and when I got there I decided to check if our Landy-driving, telecommunications expert is game for a night on the town.

Within a couple of hours, a Jag pulls into the parking lot of my hotel and the party begins - Steeroid has entered the building!

I was drunk all the time, and I didn't want to add one more city to the list of where I've been booked for DUI. In any case, I would have possibly quipped, "Maine Sonata Bombay mein chalaaya hai".

But I remember him taking us on one stretch another night when we hadn't been drinking, and I think he touched like 240 kmph on one stretch.

Before I forget, I must add that Steeroid was the most unbelievable host. I thank him for all the hospitality extended, taking time from his busy schedule (who comes back from work at 9 in Dubai??) and the food at that Italian joint you took us to was absolutely killer. Big Up to Steer!

though it very easy to get confused with sonata.
the earlier sonata design was a straight lift from the Jag
and the new sonata embera is an Accord with hyundai badging
