Offroading Meet on 31-July-2008!!

Guys!
I am S O R R Y ! ! !

This had to be planned in no time. Yesterday, as usual we were in between one of those daily evening meets that we suddenly had to decide upon this.
Steeroid has a flight to catch on Friday before his boss kicks him out of his job. And he is the one who started up the topic with MansIdea giving him full kicks. So, we are now doing this before the weekend dawns upon us.

The DESTINATION:
It's a forestic area in Kerala known as Neliampathy. It's in Palakkad district and surrounded with unlimited greenery and hills.

The DRIVE:
We will leave from Trivandrum by around 5am or so to Trissur. From there on we will either choose 1 or 2 vehicles for the journey ahead.

Zak ...strikes again & this time with another beautiful location. I am sure this will be a real monsoon drive & Roads are beautiful & well tarred (for a change). From Nenmara, its rubberised & immediately after the forest check post, the pothundi dam view point will give ample opportunities to the shutter bugs. (Ripper - dont miss this one)

The Mampara Drive or OFF ROADing & sorry only jeeps are allowed - not by rule but by experience.
The grass/plants shows the direction of the wind & the intensity of the rain. dont forget your rain coats as the front seat of a jeep will not miss any drop

Mansidea's pictures have well, spoke everything of what we are upto tomorrow.
The terrain, vehicles, clothing etc.. everything is explained. Well done!

And, ooops! I made a mistake in my first post here by mentioning trivandrum!!
We will leave from Cochin tomorrow as early as possible. That is as close to 5am. we will reach Trissur and rest of the convoy will join there!

Where is Nikki???
