Couldn't control the excitment and decided to start this thread as there are many people visiting Goa during the long weekend of August 15th. It would be great if we all can meet up for an hour or two on Saturday evening ( Aug 16th).

I will leave the decision of venue to the Goa folks. Rohan, please suggest a good place. Loved meeting you folks at Chilly's last time around.

Date : August 16th
Time : 4pm onward ( couple of hours during this time period, suggesting this day because some of them may land in goa on late Aug 15)

Drive down to Palolem beach and enjoy the sunset with some beers and Tandoor Shark (i'm forgetting the name of the place where i had it but the ambience was amazing!) cheers:

Its an amazing drive to get there as well if you're coming in from North Goa.

A request : Can we move this to an earlier time? We plan to drive back on the 17th, real early morning, and I want to ensure that all of us drivers get some good sleep + a teetotaler night on the eve.

How about meeting up for brunch? Or anytime in the afternoon?

This looks to be good opportunity for me to meet some great folks for first time in-person since I have joined the forum.

Will be reaching GOA with wify on the eve of 15 Aug from Mumbai. Leaving GOA on morning of 18 Aug. Sister and bro-in-law joining us from Bangalore. Staying in North GOA at Candolium Beach. Interest is more towards unwinding and exploring old GOA.

Some of us from Kerala are planning to drive for this meet. We'll try and reach Goa by Friday, 15th afternoon or evening.

We'll be on a 3days, 2nights plan at Goa. Will be driving back by Sunday 12noon.
So, we are open for any meet/brunch/lunch/dinner/drink/coffee between friday evening and sunday morning.

Will soon announce who all are coming.

WOW..could not have come at a better time..on saturday night we were just discussing to have a group down to goa. Me and 4 guys were driving down anyway..now its more the merrier!!!

Damn! Why does my brother have to come down for a month when I have an opportunity to go to Goa!! Sorry boys, I'm out of this one, unless I can convince my brother to accompany me (Who in turn can convince our Mum!) but I'll give it a shot!
