As decided a week or so ago that we would have a Go karting meet but i couldnt wait that long as we didnt know when it would really happen. So last thursday a few of us decided to go karting. Had a blast and thought we should do it again.
So this sunday a few of us 15 actually got together some how and ACTUALLY went go karting. Its was an awesome awesome meet. BIG turn up. Sadly the track couldnt accomodate all of us at once so we had to go in groups. Some awesome battles on track and off it The usual i am faster than you stuff was the talk of the day.
A few guy went rock climbing also. Few videos and pics to follow.

Advise to bhpians who would like to go karting in powai, You'll have to be there at 5.30 pm latest since the track has no flood lights. Last entries are taken by 5.30 or so.
Also Vankarts or what ever they are called are not given on Public holidays and Weekends.

Karting is really amazing if there's a flat track and some good tires (both, on karts and walls ).

When's the next one? Why don't you hold one on the Diwali weekend/weekday? There'll be some good turn up I assume.

The meet was great fun. Wen for Karting after ages. My brother got annoyed both times he tried, guess his luck was bad with the other drivers on track. Since we were so many of us, we got to race against each other (well most of us). After karting, rock climbing and then dinner at Mac Donalds. A very well spent and enjoyable Sunday.

Hello Fellow carters

This Sunday me and 4 of my close buddies went for Carting at Powai, It was great fun. We did 60 laps each. Good Fun.

Best lap of the day : 29.88 (don't know who he was, but the lap must be cool)

Best lap in our group : My Friend Adip : 30.88

My time : A v close 31.07.

So this Thu we are planning to hit the track hard.

A few tips given by the controllers there
1) Since this is a concrete track the cooler it is, the faster you can go
2) Inform them in advance NOT to control their car (becase by default a man on the top always controls your cars)

Also wanted to know if the track at chembur (acre club) is better and do they use the same carts ???

Those idiots control the carts no matter what!! Show them a Racing Lisence and they do bricks! Also, my fastest i remember is late 30's. But, i was thin then.

also, The Acres track is a better track. Lovely Chicanes.
