Don't make us feel like we are of your granpa's age.

You are just 17 and yet you seem to drive all sorts of vehicles (ofcourse without a valid DL) so you already have alot more 'freedom at hand' than you deserve. Its funny that you say your parents won't allow you to be out latenight yet they allow you to drive cars/two wheelers knowing that being 'legally underage for driving' you are in a way endangering your life and that of the other road users.

And considering that you go about meeting new members I really hate to say it but it really sucks that an underage driver/law-violator is representing the Chandigarh members of Teambhp.

So take my little advice and take your chauffeur along next time you go about discussing meets with new members.

It seems like most meets are based on company and not activity, this is supposed to be about more than just a few ppl getting together to discuss the same things they have discussed before. I dont see the point to a meet unless an activity is picked or a theme something that the meet should be based on.

A drive during rush hour from Sec A to Sec B , Eat and just stand around doing nothing is as fruitless as the results of this thread so far.

Otherwise it just seems very unproductive and booring.

@Speedy666

Your opinions are certainly most welcome but most of the things you have mentioned are not true.
First of all, a meet is short for a 'meeting' and a Tbhp meet is just that. Activities and all are fine but then discussing stuffs about cars can be considered an activity worthy enough for a Tbhp meet.

Also, I consider it my duty to put some light on the fact that smalhotra has misinformed you about almost all of us.

The aforementioned member himself has attended hardly a couple of meets and I am quite surprised to see how he managed to convince you that we discuss the same points time and again.

For most of us, catching up with other members is certainly fun enough.
I guess a bunch of petrolheads is all an auto enthusiast needs for having a great time and I am proud about the fact that I have made some fine pals as a result of the meets and so atleast for me the meets are as productive and exciting as they get.

Also, we do have rides/activities, we often accompany members when they install some new accessory on their rides but that we do not classify as meets. Meets are for relaxing and catching up with fellas who share the common passions.

Again there had been meets which have been unreported here on the thread and then there are many more exciting stories about the meets that I have not attended.

Let me clear it that I do not mean to offend you in anyway. This reply is just because I felt that you got a wrong impression about us from a member who is new himself and doesn't yet seem to understand what some of us are all about.

PS- I have heard from Shresth (who has been responsible for successfully conducting meets when I was at Chandigarh) that some of the newer members are not letting him handle things efficiently.
I would like shresth to team up with older members like Abhibh,Akshay and others and plan about the meets. As they all are very experienced in handling such stuffs I guess none of us will face any problems.
Still, if someone needs to have things done their way, they are most welcomed and entitled to their views on this thread but pushing someone regarding meets by contacting him thru SMSes/ Facebook is not the kind of behaviour any of us expects from a bhpian.

As the quoted posts had gone unnoticed by me earlier hence the delay in replying to them.

Regards.

So anything finalised ?

Since no productive Activity has been thought of,so lets decide date and Venue.

Me too comfortable with the 8th .

But YC , i would like to remind you that at 16 , you get your learner's made . And this year i'm going to be 18 in june so i get my car license (permanent) . I'm already on a L car license .
You are no one to tell me what amount of freedom do i deserve or what vehicles should i drive or not . No one else made a remark except you , who hasn't even met me till now .

I might be new here but remember that The First impression is the last . You've shown me yours right here . Thanks a lot for so many polite and kind words of yours brother .

btw @smalhotra_93- even with a L licence you are supposed to be driving with a permanent license holder at all times (I'm sure you respect the rules of the land)

According to the best of my knowledge and that of my sources/informers the vehicle you used (an Esteem i guess) to attend one of the meets had no signs of 'L' on either of the windscreens.

Also, as shresth pointed out no permanent license holder accompanies you on any of your 'pleasure' trips and many others can testify to the same so please do not teach me about rules, especially when you do not seem to follow any.

Yeah I've never met you (nor am I keen to) but still I know quite a bit about your actions (related to Tbhp and some more) so there you know what kind of impression you have amongst my fellow mates.

As for the freedom, when you think you have the freedom to talk "unadulterated crap" about our meets with new members I guess I have a fair bit of freedom myself to discuss your actions.

And FYI, this issue about underage driving had been first discussed with GTO and some other administrators and then only it was decided that this issue be raised on this thread amongst others.

This may be 'The First Impression' of mine to you but this is the result of many impressions you gave to few of the members present here.
Also if you were had been so concerned about the 'first impressions' what would like to say about the impression you gave to Speed666 about our meets?

@Sonirohit
I absolutely do not intend to discuss issues related to meets/Tbhp on phone/facebook or anything else except for this very forum to which it concerns.
Also I have nothing personal against this fellow though I'll be lying if I say that am not against his tactics of going ahead and defaming us/our meets.

COunt me in for any meet in second week of May.

Okay Sir fine but I'll stop for now just because you asked so and that doesn't makes me less pissed orf with the actions of this guy.

Anyways, I intend to do a 'test drive' of your alto at this meet. I still suspect that there is a 1.1 under that hood. :D

What ever the case might be , I do or don't follow rules , its my life man .

I don't need to give explanations for my driving to any one except my parents .

And i would like to end the fight right here .

Pleasure attending the meet is mine (&hopefully mutual)
It's just that since past 3 months or so have been out on most weekends - both for business & pleasure, and on the weekends I'm around there were simply lot's of things on the home front to be taken care of... and by the evenings I was exhausted (see I am not in my teens ;) or 20's anymore) hopefully should be around during the weekend of 8th.
