Companion for drives

I will be embarking on some long drives from Mumbai thru the year. Just wondering if there are some sites where I can get a companion to join in for the drives. Someone who is passionate about living on the road, seeing new places, likes to click pictures (good ones! I am terrible at composing pics).

2 Options:

1) Ask friends
2) Ask Family members.

It is better to travel with known devils rather than traveling with strangers for such a long time.

Thanks for pointing out, am well aware of the downside. There do exist sites which help people tie-up for trips.
