In my childhood days...it was just called EXHIBITION and it was treat for us.Some local favourites in this Industrial Exhibition were :
1. Zinda Talismath Stall..Which makes this amazing black solution which cures some 33 common diseases like Cold,indigestion,body aches etc.(This product carried the patronage of Nizam of Hyderabad)
2.Sanku mark (Shell Brand) lungis stall with an array of designer,checkered lungis and they used to play a catchy tune.
3.A train ride on a rickety miniature sized locomotive.
4. A baloon filled with water with an elastic band called LAYALAPPA.

Until a few years ago, each year i use to visit the exhibition atleast 10-15 times for you know what and struck lucky a couple of times too.

I was about talk to you on that:

We need to finalise the meeting time, place and agenda(and the meet is tomorrow)

Meeting Place:

if u coming from Begumpet, Anand Theatre comes on your left hand side(on Begumpet road).
take the next big left-turn below the fly-over.
you will find us there(a little ahead)on the left-hand side of the road!!!

Meeting Time: 9:30AM (this time is chosen to avoid the crowd.

Allow me to add a few more :-

5. Eating fat fat mirchi's at Agra wala stores
6. Eating Buddhi ke bal ( Pink Candy)
7. Along with Layalappa, buy that small instrument which makes kit kit when you squeeze with your fingers
8. Atleast one ride in the " Giant Wheel"
9. Keeping going in and out of "USHA" stall which usually has prettiest saleswoman in entire exhibition.

guys, if you are meeting at 930 AM on sunday, then I am out....

early morning on sunday is a definite no-no for me and my family since my daughter has her swimming class at 8 AM.

also, it will be very hot aroun 1030 to do go karting...evening is better.

If it is convenient for most, let us try and be there by 5:30 - 6:00. Most of us would have Moanday morning blues. I would, instead of Begumpet, meet at the bowenpally - medchal road intersection.

Since someone needs to take a stance, I'm taking one.

1. Time: 6.00 P.M.

2. Meet Up Place : Ideally should be a place where there is place to park a few cars, so the place after Paradise and S.P Road Intersection.

Please ignore my previous post (might reflect a while after this though!). Had indicated 5:!5 pm at Shopper's, instead we meet at:

1. 5:15 PM, wait till 5:30 "if" someone is yet to arrive, leave accordingly.
2. Auto Chenoy (as indicated in kkr2k2's route map).

Hope this is convenient for most. Whoever wants to come directly does so (will communicate to us beforehand to avoid waiting).
