We decided 21/28 Feb (sat),why is this shifted to Sunday dates..Just to accomodate some people who cant make it on Saturday.
there was enough reasoning that Sunday should be avoided as the crowd will be more in these resorts and also I have been vociferously rallying that Sunday should be a resting day to get back to work on Monday.
If the meets are going to be only on Sundays..I will avoid not only these dates proposed,but any further dates.
And we plan a Feb meet and end up on going on March 1st...This sounds funny / bad planning...IMO

Should be back in Hyd after 17th.Hope to make this.

I agree will Hillram on the Sat/Sun debate. A Saturday evening shouldn't be a problem for most i guess.Besides, if some can make it only late sat evening..... then fellas like me shall wait and keep the night still young

.After all, Sun is there to rest(and 24hrs to find my way back home) then!

We tried for saturday but luckily not many are lucky as you and saturdays are either to attend on personal chores or spouses working. Unless you want us to come for family outings alone? Please note this includes all our regular folks preferring sunday. Some of newbies also prefer sunday too.

Regarding moving it to Feb 22 and March 1st is due to having only one weekend in between and we need atleast a week to plan and trust me, it takes a lot of coordination. Also, valentine weekend nobody would be a game for a tbhp meet...LOL

Anyways, that's how things seem to have shaped up to what it is now.

I apologise if I have caused any confusion regarding the Pragathi Resort Day trip dates. I was previously for Saturday 21st or 28th but due to increase in work load I'll not be able to join on Saturdays.

My logic for not going on Sunday still stands and please have the meet on Saturday if it suits everyone else.

I'm game for any Saturday/Sunday folks...
My reasons for a Saturday -
1. Avoid Sunday crowd (Too much crowd would spoil it for all of us)
2. Rest on Sunday after the swimming/running around. I personally find it very difficult to get back to work on a Monday after a hard and long Sunday.

While i agree that some of us may have some personal work like bank work etc scheduled for Saturday, i'm sure all of you can take out ONE Saturday out of the 4 in the whole month. I know it may be difficult for people who have their respective spouses working on Saturdays but that's what paid leaves are for! One leave in a month wont upset anybody's schedule i hope.

I thought we had all the clarity regarding this meet (including info on the venues) we needed in the old thread itself??

Guys, something has come up on the personal front which makes it difficult for me to come out on Feb'09 for any weekend.

Just let me know which date. I shall try to be there. For night meets, I prefer Friday or Saturday. For day meets Saturday or Sunday are ok by me.

Damn - I will most probably be in Hyderabad between 28 Feb - 2 Mar - attending a friend's wedding. No idea as to what his wedding schedule is - so cannot confirm anything.

Just wondering if anyone in Hyd. esp the TBHPians know what a quick dinner meet. Unless, one defines it as a meet that lasts a mere 6 hours or so.

I second the shikampur idea! Though Nizams mite be a problem AFAIK none of the CUG are members there.
