Bombay drive to Lonavla : Sunday 22nd May 2005

To keep it simple, lets stick to the particular options that drifter has specified. For the first drive.

hey if you guys want a nice pleasent drive then ahemdabad road is the way to go as the last time i was on the lonavala road after the khalapur exit/entry of the express way the roads went from bad to worse to bad and then you come onto the expressway at the hill so its all upto what kind of dive youll want to go on and if youll want to go all the way till aemdabad then itll take a good 7-8 hrs and about 3-4 hours till dahanu, i frequent this road often and its a sheer pleasure to cruise along except for the occassional adivasis and a couple of motorcycle walas who have no driving sense and drive in the middle of the highay which a couple of honks will take care off.

the road to dahanu has been completely redone about 2 years ago its nice 2 lane barricaded highway and there will be almost no trailer traffic on a sunday

Its been a long time since i met all of u...! Got exams on saturday...then after 10 days....so lets go on sunday!!!

not too sure on the various plans being thot of... but wud prefer a half day drive.... leave early morn and be back by 3-4....

Hmmm, that's interesting. Depends on what the others feel.

We can't technically call it a "Guyz Only" meet since we do have female members on our site. It's just that only guys have been reporting so far.

why are you guys going in seperate cars ? why not pool in and go in 2-3 cars !

dont bother about the above raving and ranting . thats me getting the fustration out of my system

I am 99% in for Sunday to Lonavala. Will only be able to confirm on Saturday evening though. Will have my car as well.
