Actually the bonnet was pretty hot after the drive and keeping our Beef dry fry warm during the cold night.

It was a great meet, my wife and I enjoyed it very much. It was nice meeting you, srijit!

I had a gala time on the way to Cherai and back to the city. The stretch of road from Pathalam to the church immediately after Varapuzha is real fun. The roads were pretty empty and I made it to the South Rlwy Station 15 minutes ahead of time.

It even came with umbrellas.We had a good laugh imagining the cost of mending them at a skoda A.S.S.

The meet was really enjoyable, despite some delays and kabab-mein-haddi experience in the restaurant. Thanks to Vivek/Muneem for hosting us at his home/organising the meet.Thanks to all the BHPians and family who made it,I am really looking forward for the next one.Driving down to cochin nowadays on weekends have almost become a habit for us Thrissur guys .

Aravind, Great pics. The dynamic range of the 'sun behind the bars' is excellent. Shot it with that S5 IS?

@Steeroid.

It's Skoda's testdrive car and I was the 'owner' for those few days only. Forget pedestrian friendliness, forget impact protection, forget aerodynamics, that bonnet did pass the test as a beautiful dining table. If anything it was also keeping the food warm.

Now perhaps you could spare me and use that bullet for someone else.
