Shouldnt be a issue, i was a greenwoods day before y'day and they usually dont get much crowds.

Managed to send my friends towards Rann of Kutch and got myself free for the meet tomorrow.

mmm.... how to identify? Would be difficult to miss me, look at my profile picture. A scorp would also be difficult to loose around Greenwood I guess.... see you guys tomorrow.

And its not difficult to identify as we will be there by around 4:00 pm. Also, I think you have my number as we had earlier conversation when Arindam doing GQ run met with accident. And I too have your number. So wont be tough.

I am not in the best of my health, so not sure if I can come or not. By 12, I will update you all.

The Vadodhara / Ahmedabad TBHP meet:

Thanks to about 100 SMS msgs and rounding up AAGoswami and other Baroda gang did (clap, clap clap) we could at long last land up to a decent 11 member gang for the meet.

Slated at 4pm, I was a little late in waking up after a sunday noon nap. Was 5 kms away from greenwood around 415 when Aditya pinged me, the Baroda gang of 5 were already there on time. Around 0430 everyone else was already there, great going.





Talked to the manager at Greenwood we got entry into the garden around the lovely blue pool. Someone said without heating and bikni babes it's not worth jumping in :) so we settled around for the customary chai, snaks and talking roads and cars.

Was meeting most of them for the first time, but was great talking to vibrant guys. Got a bagful of information and some explosive contacts (can't tell online).

Vikram turned out to be a store house of information about how to quench many kinds of thrirsts, got hot leads for Gypsy/M540 project thro. Aditya, a partner for Ladakh with Karthik, some tips from biker veteran Jay about new Ladakh route possibilities and the ICE specialist Ashish Sharma..... for me turned out to be a mine of information on GPS.

We took some photos, Jay got his GPS configured thro. Ashish, all of us had one more round of chai / snacks and called it a day around 0815. Not before we put the TBHP sticker on Karthi's Car, generously donated by Ashish, a day well worth spent, I would say.

That was quick. Did edit my details and also added email + phone number.
It was a nice meet. We all could actually spend time together rather than focusing on food. Cars, Roads, GPS, etc. were discussed and we all were at ease with each other pretty quickly.

Yes, a 100 PMs. I thought that 15 would come for meet. The number we had was very good IMO. We all had a fun and I was partly cured.

Two cups of coffee and a sandwhich was enough for me to bring me back home.

Realized what people think of me after reading my posts. Kartik told me that he thought I am a tall, old age person. I think after nisarg, I was youngest of the group.

Carputer by Nisarg is awesome. And both Ashish and Nisarg have good ICE, but my ICE is under the hood.

All in all, a good time we spent and if I had dropped the idea of going in for meet, I would have to repent. Now I am happy!
