Team-BHP meets at Thrissur

If it is for a drive , then it must be chimney dam. This is an unspoilt place in the country side. About 30 Km from Thrissur. Good winding roads (not smooth)
through rubber plantations.

It would be an awesome drive.

Maybe we all can get together at some place in thrissur and then drive along to this place as everyone may not know the route and road conditions & that includes me...

The place is chimney dam itself.The road ends there.

The route is Thrissur - Ollur - Thalore - Ambalur (turn left from NH) - Alagapanagar- Varantarapilly - Chimney Dam

check Chimmony dam @10.438963,76.461518 in google maps to get an idea about the location.

Mithun, so do we have to take left from Amballur and and then go straight isnt it? I thought this was in the Athirampilly route..

Iam Prasanth from Kondazhy( 45 Kms from Thrissur, via Wadakanchery,chelakkara).
Now that the location is fixed lets decide the date,will all Team BHP members from Thrissur be joining the meet!!

It is a lovely drive from Chelakkara to that place; (at least the bus route); and the road ends on the other side of Ottapalam right?

Atlease seen some feedbacks now. So I suppose we can unanimously select Chimmoni dam as our meeting place, isnt it?
How about the dates 21st or 22nd Nov? I would be arriving on 19th Nov, presently at Angola...

Yes. Except Pathinamthitta, Idukki and Waynad, I have to travel to every district in Kerala, at least once a year. ;-)

During my visit to Kondazhi / Mayannur, I learnt that one can wade through the Bharatapuzha to Ottapalam during summer season, right?

That would be a good event for 4X4 enthus here.
