hey buddies, satya has ditched us and gone off to live in the flatlands of the far south, but we cool dudes of the north can still have some fun.

any interest in a group drive? if you can devote a saturday or a sunday, speak up!

I'm selling the lotus so I want to get one last good thrash out of her before she goes. sooner the better.

What the? How dare you go out for a drive without me.

I've gotta ask though. Ain't you seeing any snow yet?

Can my RWD truck and I join you?

Hi Harbir,

I am not from New York but I am willing to drive the 4 hours to make it there. I can stay at my brother's or my friend's in Jersey during the time we are not out on the drive. Never went out on a drive, just for the sake of driving, here in the US and never attended a US TeamB meet either.

I checked the weather forecast for the NY area and, as of now, there is a 0% chance of precipitation for Saturday the 16th, and a 30% chance of snow on Sunday. So, I am in if it's this Saturday. My non-TeamB friend might join us in his 08 Audi TT 2.0

I leave the route planning to you. Let me know what you think

It's been a while definitely!

Next 2 weekends at-least are all booked (family affairs) and I'm running snow tires on the 335 now.

Anyways, I'll be around Southern MA, or CT so just might be able to sneak out.

satya - you know you're always welcome up here man!

Harbir - can you hang on to the Lotus until spring? Then you can really have a good final blast when the cold has subsided.

tacho - whereabouts in Herndon are you? I have cousins living in the Legacy Circle apt. complex - around the McNair Farms area.

Hi aah78,

I live in an apartment complex opposite Worldgate Center, about 1.5 miles from where your cousins live. I used to frequent Legacy Circle until a few months ago, when one of my friends was living there.

You got a nice car. My brother in Jersey also has an E90 335i but it's an 07

Actually, I probably shouldn't... This thing spins the rear wheels over 3k rpm in the dry, don't fancy doing it in the cold wet north.

Oh great - OK I keep popping down to Herndon from time-to-time. Will give you a ping the next time I'm down there and maybe we can catch up.

Nothing yet Abhijit.

Anyways, this weekend's predicted snowstorm will probably mess things up but let's see over the next few weekends.

My car's been sitting in a garage for the past 3 weeks.

sorry chaps. I didn't see a response for a few days so I didn't check back after that. I am off to India (haven't been back in 5 years!) in 4 days, but I still have my lotus, so maybe we'll do something when I get back. by then it will have been nearly a year since the first one we did.

lets make it a memorable one. Satya and I couldn't do the ohio/WV drive because of issues that I had, but hopefully we can do something like that when I come back, and maybe we can persuade satya to come back up here for a weekend and join us.

Alright Chaps,

I am back from a month long vacation in India, I still have the lotus because it hadn't sold before I left, and I want to do a group drive or two before it goes.

I'll ask Advait to send out a message to the tri state gang to see who wants to go when.

Satya, any chance you want to take out a weekend to join us? maybe we can do the ohio loop. you could fly in and out of pittsburgh. or we can do an upstate new york spin in the wild twisties up there.

Advait, look for a PM from me once I've had a chance to put together some tentative proposals on what we could do.

thanks!
