Hello Folks,
I am in for Jadhavgadh..
We can follow the same approach as we did for Lavasa, one lead and one trail car

Since our dear friend Vishal(Thar4*4) has suffered bad luck , hence putting up a tentative schedule for review . As dicsussed in previous meets we would prefer to keep the meet frequency once in every 3 weeks (unless people think otherwise):

Date: April 2nd(Saturday) or 3rd(Sunday)

Rough Plan: Assemble at the meeting point -Drive towards the decided place (less than 2 hrs commute preferred ) - Stop enroute at a Tapri for Tea/ Breakfast - Reach the destination and some fun interactions - Stop at a good viewing point for a small photo shoot - On the way back from the destination a lunch stop around (12:30 -1:00) - Drive back home by 4 PM - Logon to Team - BHP and post experience and loads of pics .

Mahabaleshwar
Lonavala
Bhatghar Dam
Kass/ Bamnoli/ Sajangad
Pemgiri - large banyan tree spread over 4 acres
Nighok - river potholes
Kotul - inverted salt columns
Fort Jadhavgadhi

Adventure Plus , Bhor
Pratapgarh Fort (down of Mahabaleshwar )

Time: Early morning departure around 6.30 AM

Lunch Options:

My choices would be as follows (not in chronological order)

1. Fort Jadhavgadh (have sent them an email for enquiry also)
2. Amby Valley
3. Lonavala (not really, been bored to death going there, can drive to Lonavla with my eyes closed :D )
4. Adventure Plus

I would avoid places like Sajjangadh/Kaas/Mahabaleshwar/Pratapgadh, as they are not a 2 hours drive. Though we plan to leave early morning, nowadays traffic on NH4 is like driving on Laxmi Rd or Deccan.

I would put myself in the tentative list (most probably would not be able to make it).

I thought the next meet was going to be planned on a National Holiday.

I am good for any place, except Lonavla - I can drive there with both eyes and ears closed :) Nighoj is a little too far in my opinion, and the roads are not too great for cars.

Also guy i mentioned something some posts back. i think nobody noticed. so saying again. Inst there supposed to be a vintage car meet/rally at jadav gadh at 26 or 27th? any news on that??
