I have taken them ( family ) for granted for too many times , say 99 is already reached . It has become too much for them to handle ( the all boys outings & meetings ) .

Now if I do one more mistake :eek: >then prepare a guest room for me for a long time :D

As per the earlier posts the plan was to have the meet on Sunday 3rd April. I am sure some of the confirmed attendees - JealousDiamond, Swanand etc would fill you in with the details.

I would not be able to join the meet on that day so would not be able to salute the General/Admiral on 3rd April. :Frustrati This would be pending for the next meeting.

Found about details about Walkie talkie hire. Rs 200/- per day per piece. Range is 1Km. No need for any permits. I asked the fellow whether he can supply 10 units, the answer was yes. We need to pay him in advance and he needs a security deposit check that he will not encash. Once we return the sets, he will return the check.

Rough Plan: Assemble at the meeting point -Drive towards the decided place (less than 2 hrs commute preferred ) - Stop enroute at a Tapri for Tea/ Breakfast - Reach the destination and some fun interactions - Stop at a good viewing point for a small photo shoot - On the way back from the destination a lunch stop around (12:30 -1:00) - Drive back home by 4 PM - Logon to Team - BHP and post experience and loads of pics .

Sounds great to me. We can atleast try it once. please add vote for walkies. +1 from my side.

I am ruled out for only the April 2nd wala weekend, cuz of World Cup and associated plans. Weekend after that should be good. And walkie talkies sounds insanely exciting somehow LOL.

@jealousdiamond, please add me to the tentative section for the weekend of April 9th. If I manage to find a car till then, I will change to confirmed.

Are bikes allowed too? If so, I will change to confirmed after I buy a helmet! (misplaced it somewhere during the numerous moves in the last couple of years) stupid:

Unfortunately, even Ive been ruled out of the 2nd April wala weekend. If its any one after that, I am totally game. Need to travel during that weekend.

The walkies do sound insanely amazing to be carrying. 200 per piece per day is not bad at all. Would love to have them along.
