black exhaust smoke from a diesel engine can be caused by several reasons.
check the following
1. low fuel pressure
2. faulty injector/s
3. faulty fuel pump
4. restricted air flow. (most common)

or it can simply be your exhaust pipe itself. it could be clogged with carbon.

i suggest you begin by taking a look at your air filter first.
clean it or replace it.
while you are at it, try revving your engine gently with out the filter fitted for signs of smoke, but please remember to take the necessary precautions to NOT let any objects into the air intake manifold.

if the problem is still persistent check the injectors. getting them cleaned at a dedicated diesel pump repair shop costs only around rupees 500.

only after you've all of this and they don't help, ask them to check the fuel pump for malfunctions.

cheers
Saud

fuel pressure is fine ...
Injectors working fine (cleaned for 400 bucks) ...
Fuel pump rechecked twice for 5000 bucks ...
Had a trial without airfilter - problem persists ...
If exhaust pipe is clogged with carbon , will it smoke continously low at slow accelaration and huge at high accelaration ?
Getting continous black smoke when i accelerate !
