you can safely apply turtle wax on painted parts , for fibre / plastic get stp sun of gun(rs 180)/ formula 1 protectant(rs 140)/ 3m dashboard polish(rs 110).

this will only work if fibre / plastic is not sun damaged.

@blackasta : Tried calling meguirs numbers ????

Buddy, the fibre panels are painted so you can use normal wax like Turtle for waxing. I use Turtle Paste Wax on Painted Plastics like Bumpers.

Well I tried once, but someone picked up and told that the guy I want to talk to is not present, ans asked me to call later.
I called a couple of times after that, but without any reposnse from the other end (that was in weekend). Shall try calling again today.

Just 4 days back, on Saturday, had used the 3M Show Car Liquid Wax on my other car. Today went in for a touch up session, using UQD and UQW.
I could clearly make out that the finish, the smoothness was better than what i have seen so far with any wax. The effect can be made out by how smoothly the micro fiber runs over the car and how much of the 1st day shine remains. Since its hot these days, the wax effect should wear out faster from the 1st day( shine and slickness) but its still 100% intact.
I have used the following so far on my cars(wax)
Turtle
Meguiars Paste
Meguiars Liquid
3M Liquid
3M Paste- this was when i went in for a 3M Treatment
I have seen that 3M wax is better than meguiars in terms of the finish and the time duration for which the smoothness remains.
I had gone in for the 3M treatment using paste wax in Jan, and i have NOT YET washed with water since then, just been using California Duster and UQDetailer(meguiars).
Difference is not huge, but one can make out especially when you go in for a touch up session after 4-5 days. Turtle wax ( hard shell) is clearly not in the same league( this is my experience, please do not construe it as a negation on the product quality, its just a comparison)

PS :Really sorry for those who want pics, my basement area is not well lighted even in the day and the car color is Golden so only a personal inspection can really bring out the effect and no pics

@ mkh : Was the 3M treatment done by yourself using 3M stuff or had you gone to any 3M authorized centers.
Where did you get your 3M stuff and how much do they cost?
( Sorry about the question if you have put the details in any of the previous pages. Will take me some time to go through this 125 page thread :D )

Lol same here, Scratch x 2.0 for 599Rs!!!
Only a few products from meguiars qualify for free shipping, If they can ship a 600ml UQD for free, they can as well ship a UQW for free
:Frustrati

Unfortunately none of the 'Autoglym' stuff is eligible for free shipping!

I've heard great things about them, would've loved to try it out! :Frustrati

20North is asking for $75.01 all inclusive (free shipping) for 8 products. The same stuff when I am selecting on amazon is showing $69.37 + shipping. Do you guys suggest getting the stuff in this free shipping window from 20North?

list the items here .
