Thanks Gpa! Actually, I thought that they did more than just spray the neutralizer and say 'all ij well' at the detailing centers. Don't they do something else?

No, they don't. As a matter of fact, this is the same procedure followed by A.S.S also. Spray, leave for 15 mins and run blower. If you DIY, you can dismantle a/c grilles and insert a cloth into the vents for a more thorough job

I used the gulf neutralizer once with good results, except that I forgot to empty the glove box and my RC book ended up a soppy mess!

You probably ended up using too much, which is why this happened.

You can clean it by hand with a light detergent. If you decide to machine wash, wash only with other microfibers.

Thats how I do it myself. Works good for me.

which liquid light detergent ???? is wring dry okay ???

I use 'Genteel' liquid detergent!

some brush action might be needed for tough stains

I wash in hot/warm water depending upon the dirt on the towel!

Hi Guys,
I had been using the Amway Car wash - Silicon Glaze polish for my car. Recently I bought the Formula One Carnuba Wax .

So will it work well, if I :

Wash - Polish- Wax my car to get the desired results??,,or have I overdone it?

Polish and then wax is recommended, no harms at all. Just that polish is not as often as wax, once in 2-3 months only

I purchased the following today

1. Turtle wax - platinum series - for Rs. 465
2. Turtle wax microfibre cloth (set of 3) - for Rs. 450

Pictures as below :

Small blue cloth on the left side is 3M cloth for Rs. 100 and the right big one is the Turtle wax microfibre cloth for Rs. 465 for a set of 3

Any Info about availability and price of DA polisher?

No idea dude!

I looked like all over Delhi for DA polisher!

I took a photo along too, but no-one had even the slightest idea that such a thing even existed!! (everyone kept showing me the rotary buffer)

After a lot of explaining to loads of ppl related to this industry, I finally got a lead that allegedly 3M, Gurgaon might be having the DA polisher!

regarding its sponge pads, I made one myself to use with the rotary polisher!:D

I was showing it the other day to this bodyshop guy and he said that such ready made pads are available!

(his description of the pads quite closely matched the 'lake country' brand pads I have seen on websites)

I hope I get my hands on one of these soon!
