Any recommendations for car upholstery (not leather) cleaning (including mild stains, watermarks) material? Would appreciate sourcing info as well? Thanks n cheers
Experts,
Any suggestions for water spot remover. My Punto's rear windshield has them and last detailing session could not remove them. Funnily the detailing team said the so called water spots are actually bubbles in the rear defogger sticker on the inside which I could not believe.
Attaching a couple of pics to show the water marks. Sorry for the pic quality.

If they are on the glass surface, then try a small bottle of carpro spotless. It should do the job
Thanks nova9,
I have ordered it from autofresh. Tried the above coupon, looks like it got expired already. Now I am waiting to get it. Also I have one more question. My car has lot of scratches on bonnet and on the boot since the dogs in my society sleep on my car. Is there any filler that I can use which would hide those scratch marks or any scratch remover that would work so I can use it before applying collinet.
Hello everyone - whats the best thing to do for protection of the paint job and shine (or improve on it) for a new car? I heard about a product called Modesta that gives "glass like" shine - do the gurus recommend?
Hi guys,
There are a couple of posts of mine in this thread where I mentioned that I was considering the Ceramic Coating for my car and was in two minds for the same. A couple of days back I came across a Facebook post from 'Always Dry LLC' which is an American company and has its authorized dealer outlets in Delhi and Chandigarh where they have mentioned that some of their dealers in Delhi have been using chinese material for these coatings and so have been removed from their authorized dealer list. This has obviously created a sort of suspension in my mind with regards to coating as this is happening even with reputed brands. I have decided to stay away from it as of now and stick to the conventional waxing.
This is only for information and not to influence anyone from not using these ceramic coatings.
Took my ride for a UV treatment at 3M car care Surat, VIP road outlet.
Completely satisfied by the results.
Carried out Foam Wash, Tyre Dressing, Dashboard dressing, Vacuuming, Waxing.
The body surface become extremely smooth after the treatment.
Sharing a few pictures.
Apology, the pictures were captured by Cellular Phone so they aren't doing justice for expressing the quality of work that has been carried out.
Will upload high-resolution pictures in a few days.
The last two day light pictures were captured next day early morning after the treatment was carried out.
Total expenses is INR 1162/-
Regards

The 3M kit is available for 50% discount on Flipkart at the moment. This contains the basics needed to take care of your vehicles. I ordered one for gifting.
Should be easy to find. :)
Dear TBHPians,
Two wheeler parking at workplace is a mess. One scratch / day is guaranteed. Vehicle color is black. Can remove / reduce scratches but need advice on preventive measures. How effective is ceramic coating in terms of preventing scratches ?
Thanks in advance.

Take a cover and cover your vehicle when you park. No amount of ceramic coating will help in your parking.
Guys what product would you recommend for the black vinyl parts on the exterior. I have seen some products that act tire and trim cleaners ( example Chemical Guys-Gel Black Forever Trim & Tyre Protection Gel)but havent tried them out
Preferably something that comes in smaller packaging.

Hi Nova9,
I use 303 Aerospace protectant on my car's black vinyl parts. Its a good product but I off late I've recognized problem with spray products as we tend to waste certain amount while applying them. I think gel based/type should be more economical in the long run.
Every 2 months I repeat 303 round post cleaning the parts with a dedicated car shampoo or APC if part is real dirty and then when it is dry, using the spray and a microfiber cloth, I apply this product.
If you are interested then you can try this product:

I confirm, I do not have any commercial interests in promoting the above website or this particular product.
Thanks & Regards

After searching for quite a while for an affordable manual foamer in India, I bought the Mesto Foamer from I4detailing UK last month.

Hi,
I have been looking for hand held High Pressure foamer. I check the link provided by you but seems that it's not working at all. Tried to source the same from other websites but wherever it is available, shipping to India is not an option there. Do have any other leads or links like these foamer for reference.
