Hey Guys, I wash my car and motorbike at home myself. I just have access to a garden hose and shampoo in a bucket. To douse the vehicle with shampoo from a bucket - what kind of sponge do I use? Do I get something like this https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B01...8MB9HFEI&psc=1 Or something that is more traditionally a sponge? I was looking for some contraption which will foam the vehicle up directly from a garden hose - any options? Since I do all washing and cleaning myself, i guess this will make my life a bit easier. No, I cant invest in a pressurized equipment at the moment. |

I'm looking to grab a DA polisher for my weekend detailing sessions. Looks like DAS-6 PRO is the VFM proposition for a newbie like me. Came across this UK based store quoting about 14K with shipping to India through DHL. A group buy of 3 pieces would bring down the price to 11K owing to savings on shipping rates. Any interested buyers? |

What's a good foaming solution to use along with a foam gun? Something that relieves me of all the muck :) |

Hello I am looking for collinite 915 and Meguiars Mirror Glaze Detailing Clay, Mild. Any idea from where can I source these products? The prices available on Amazon are absurd and almost thrice the actual price. |

For Collinite check Greenz Car Care. They are the official importers for Collinite. You can look for clay there also. Meguiars clay isn't all that great honestly. There are better options on the market. |

Checked with Greenz and it's not in stock though the website says it's in stock. Any other alternative? |

For clay I was going by the brand as I have never used it before and wanted to start with the mild one to avoid any damage. What would you suggest for a newbie? Regards |

You can try www.bringingbest.in, this guy is also mostly recommended on the forum. I've sourced from him Hi Temp Paste Wax from FinishKare long back. |

You can go for the "bilt hamber" auto clay from www.detailedclean.in. It is available in three grades - soft, medium and regular. I have been using the soft one and it does the job really well. I will suggest starting with the soft clay as it is not aggressive and will not damage the paint ! |

Yes checked. Again not in stock. Okay. Will the soft one be able to take care of paint overspray? |

For the paint overspray, you will have to get the regular one. Quoting from the website "Auto-clay regular is ideally suited to cars not previously clayed, those which are heavily contaminated or for the removal of overspray". As regards, Collinite, you can get one from "http://store.ultimatedetailerz.com" |

Checked. Not in stock. Only 845 and 925 is there. Having used 845, I wanted to try 915 this time. As for the clay, my cars have never been clayed. I think the regular one is required then. |

I hope you are aware of the fact that moving to 915 from 845 is considered Quantum Leap in terms of effort needed. Good luck. |

I have 915's siblings in my kit, 476s & 885. Without a orbital, it takes me half a day to go bumper to bumper using Sensei Miyagi's technique of Karate Kid. Good luck. |

c) Also, Do NOT let Collinite paste waxes dry otherwise you will literally have to consider using a hammer and chisel to remove any dried up bits. Ask @Leoshashi who is well versed with waxing his car :uncontrol |

Do you think 915 is a good upgrade from 845 with reasonably more effort? |
Where did you source 915 from? It's out of stock everywhere :Frustrati |
