What's your sweet spot? (RPM)

I really love the humungous surge of torque laid down by my skoda rapid 2017 dsg in the 1750-1900rpm range while in drive mode and 2000-2200rpm range in sports mode.

My Aspire TDCi starts giving an ultimate linear acceleration from 1700 rpm and goes upto 4000 rpm. Even after 4000 rpm, the engine pulls cleanly, but it is not as fun as driving it in between 1700-4000 rpm. I am not a great fan of a sudden surge of power and thus prefer more linear power delivery.
