OBD Database (Port, Protocol, Cable, Software and Protocol Details)

This thread has been started JUST to be a reference point for people interested in playing around with their car's OBD ports.

Position of Port : Just left of the steering column, under the dashboard

Cable used : ELM 327 (v 1.4) based USB cable (Cost 50$). Similar cable available here.

Was not able to communicate with the ECU using the above cable.
