i remember that my Indica Xeta had a short black strip behind the IRVM which worked as an antenna. Reception was never a problem. current Xeta owners can confirm.

Another one:
Ingress and Egress in second row is particularly difficult because of the B-Pillar that comes in the way of your foot. Isn't it possible to 'curve' the bottom of the B-Pillar (without affecting the structural integrity) so that it is easier to push your foot through?

Re: Common 'Features' in cars that we need to 'live with'

Is it possible to use a combination of technologies for transmission.
For e.g. Torque-converter can be used for speeds upto 80 km/hr, and then a CVT for speeds above? Best of both worlds?

Another one:
A lot of cars already have 'roof mounted' A/C vents (for second row seats). Wouldn't it be more energy efficient (with the added advantage of faster cooling) if cars have ceiling cassette type A/C vents even for front rows?

Wouldn't it be nice to have a super capacitor running parallel to the car battery, to save you just in case the battery dies?
