Re: Multi map selection using the cruise control on my Octavia vRS

There is lot of empty space in the flash of the ecu, wherein you have to write your custom code for these features. The function is called from the stock code.
Here is the link with details-
Multi map selection using cruz control
Its a very interesting website. Love to explain stuff like this.

Re: Multi map selection using the cruise control on my Octavia vRS

^^^
Hi,
So I take it that all external user inputs are monitored and vectored (jump table?) and this is documented. And you are essentially changing the vector to point to your routine?

What processor?

Re: Multi map selection using the cruise control on my Octavia vRS

Its an Infineon c167 processor. Yes various inputs like clutch and cruise control status are saved in specific memory locations, it is not documented as such but can be found using an me7 ecu logging program posted in the website and doing some reversing of the code. Various definition files are posted in the website which gives the location of the maps in the files which makes our work much easier. Hats off to the guys for bringing tuning to the masses. Having said that things do go wrong due to lack of our experience.
