Esteem D to CRDi

We have an esteem diesel and the engine is almost dead. Well i got a crazy idea of changin the TUD5 to the CRDi engine from accent.
If i could fet the engine and other parts required can I go ahead with this project ???
How much will it cost And most importantly will the Crdi engine will fit in the esteem bay ??? What other modifications should be done considering that the engine does fit into the car???
Has anyone ever done this before ???

Need help as soon as possible!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE .................

You will need new custom engine mounts. You will have to mate the flywheel of the CRDi to the gearbox of the Esteem, or get a CRDi box itself. You may want to go with the Accent box, since I'm not sure if the Esteem one can handle the torque. Better front suspension would be necessary. I'm not sure who can do this in HYD, but there are enough people in BLR to do the job (Psycho, Scan, Dom etc).

If you get a good install, put Pete's stuff on. You will be killing Esteems and also getting close to 17kmpl with decent driving!

ps. you will need to worry about turbo and intercooler mounting too.

If the project is succesful, it will definitely rock. Feel the car be driven in 1 single gear the whole day long....knowing the torque you get in the Accent CRDI engine and the esteems ultra light chassis...you will need to stiffen a lot of components and of course don't forget the BRAKES.

So the main question is If the project is successful will i be able to use it everyday?
The TUD 5 engine has covered a lot of distance in these 3 years and if revved above 2k rpm the exaust sounds like a padmini !!!!!
Finally no one mentioned what the cost would be like.
