Re: Engine Rebuild Cost and Materials for Optra - Is the price accurate?

Well, I got the car back finally!
Total damage out of pocket was 1.4 big ones.
Engine, Front Suspension and the AC, everything has been replaced.
Bang up job done by the FNG . I'm very satisfied with the work done.
No wonder the FNG has it's own thread on Team-BHP with 12 pages and close to 200 posts!
I'd write a review, but then most peeps here already know which garage I'm talking about lol.

All the parts were properly invoiced and copy of all the bills were provided to me.
Even though the overall cost was pretty high, I am still happy that every part that was replaced, was invoiced and inventoried.
I have been instructed to take it easy for the next 2k km's, revs to be kept under 3k.
Oil change to be done post 2k km's. Engine feels very smooth and relaxed now.
Absolutely no noise outside or inside till 3000 rpm.
No noise from the front suspension while going over potholes/broken roads.
The AC has become so ridiculously chilly, the wife shut off all the vents on her side and nearly froze me to death while coming back from work today .

Hope this smoothness lasts for as long as possible. Fingers crossed.
Next up, bumper painting and scratch removal. Followed by a visit to the detailing experts.
Thanks for all the replies fellas. Your prompt suggestions and responses really helped clear things up a lot.

Cheers!
