Hi everybody
I too would am interested in upgrading my headlamps as I find it difficult to drive at night.Due to this reason whenever I go on a crosscountry trip I call it a day just about at the time of sunset.
I have a Beat with OEM lamps which I think are 55/60.Instead of adding another pair of headlamps would prefer better bulbs.What safe choices do I have and how do I go about it?

Not sure if this was intended to my query. However I would like to upgrade the stock headlights in terms of bulbs or wattage etc and not add on another set of lights.

Hence suggestions on that end is welcome.

The stock ones are 35/35W or 60/55W?

Whatever is the upgrade please don't cross 100/90W as the reflectors will blacken and eventually destroy due to the heat produced. I have seen cases using 130/100W setup and havibg the reflector turn blank in a few months of usage.

I urge you to try Phillips Xtreme Vision 60/55W or Osram NB 60/55W.

I will be upgrading the bulbs to Philips in a few days (Stock rating).
