Hi,
The bonnet on Neville`s car made for sheet metal with the perfotration.Over look the perforation and treat the bonnet like regular sheet metal, shape it like the orginal bonnet and paint it black.(3-4 days job)

No dirt, leafs, metal or petals can get through a K&N!!

Karan

Hey Karan, like I said before, doesn't the perforated sheet screw up the aerodynamics? And what is the reason for using it? Solely for better heat dissipation or is there a deeper meaning (like style )

With the filter/intake exposed, isn't there a possibility of debris blocking it? What about exposure to the elements... like rain? Is it practical to drive around in a car like that? Do people do it? Am I asking too many questions?

lemme try to answer ur questions.....
i think this kinda hood is an optimum set up between getting maximum cooling at the intake without sacrificing too much of aerodynamics.
I remember at one of the local drags, one idiot brought his totally done up car but without the bonnet.

No it doesnt make sense driving around with the air filter exposed like that...this is only for drag racing.
