My 2009 model Alto Lxi 800 went to MSM for service today. I told them specifically to use Mobil 1 0W40 engine oil, but I see that the bill mentions "Synthetic Oil Mobil 1 (0W20)". The part number shown is 99999MS0W40-MOB. Can someone confirm what spec oil this actually is?

I was not present during service, car was taken for service and delivered home.

If it is actually 0W20 I will tell them to change it again.

Hi,
Can I get the part number of the Parts Catalogue of new 2022 Ertiga facelift with the K15C dualjet engine?

I got the part number of the older K15B Ertiga's catalogue from your XL6 ownership thread, but I am specifically looking for the part No of the K15C version.

Thanks.

^^ The problem was I didn't buy the full container. They have measured and poured 2.75 litres from a barrel. But mentioned in the bill as 0w20.

Do you give part numbers for the distributor cap, its rotor and gasket of the distributor for Alto F8D engine?

Thanks

These parts are better bought in Lucas TVS, request you to kindly go through my other thread where I have posted about aftermarket brands.

Hello Shashi,

Does it make sense to go for the LXI version & do most of the aftermarket fittings on my own? Fittings like installing Xenon bulbs, fog lamp set, reverse parking aid, central locking system, 14" Alloy wheels (more on this below), Sony multimedia 6.95", Seat covers, etc

The prices of each and every accessory seems to be 20-30% higher than what's available in the market (Bombay). The Alloy wheels are a whooping 28k+4k(labour)+720(gst on labour)=33k, I like the design of 14" alloys Maruti's selling but they are definitely not worth the price they are asking.

I need advise on which Accessories I should or shouldn't purchase from Maruti, should I get the rear power & central locking done by the Dealership?

Thanks

LXi version of which car?? :)

Please ask them to clarify, there is a mismatch of part number and name. Do you notice any increased clatter post oil change?

Regards,
Shashi

I have not yet driven it after it came back from the servie. But I visited them this morning for clarification and they say it is 0w40 only, though the name appears as 0w20 in the billing. I did go inside and inpect the barrel, which also mentions the part number correctly, but the name as 0W20. They say the issue has been highlighted to Maruti and the correction must be made at their end. Seems some customers have already raised the issue.

I told them to double check, that I am shortly leaving on a road trip to Hyderabad, but they are confidently saying I can go ahead without worries, the oil filled is 0w40 only.

I have to either accept the explanation or change the oil again elsewhere.

Can I get the part number and price details for the pre-facelift Baleno sedan's radiator grille? If discontinued, kindly provide the details for post-2003 localised version's grille.

Attaching a picture of the above mentioned part for reference.

Hi Shashi,

I am trying to get hold of service manual and parts catalog of S-Cross K15B. I am not able to find the actual part no. My SA does not have any clue about it.

Can you please point me to right part no.?

If USB sticks are the only way, is it possible that as a consumer one can buy or use it.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, couldn't find information about this new part which comes with facelift Brezza. 37310M68P21 - for the intermittent wiper settings.

Any comments if this can be done on the pre facelift Baleno delta? Also, would it look odd compared to the headlights stalk?
