This is a rumour in Kerala alone. I checked with a technical officier at Maruti and he confirmed that the warranty would be void if a LPG kit was installed. Only vehicle that gets warranty are the LPG Wagon R and the Omni and other factory fitted kits.

I got the RTO endorsement done at the Jayanagar office in Bangalore.

I dropped off the papers after the inspection on the 20th and was able
to collect the original RC book on the 26th.

Thx for all your help.

As for the performance, the Zavoli kit is working great... Checked the
average on 3 tankfuls, its giving around 11kmpl in mixed city / outer ring
road driving.

In my view, the van also runs much smoother in LPG as compared to Petrol.

I have not had an discernable loss of power torque or top speed.
