:D It was showing as "diagnostic search" while undergoing the process.
Regarding so many error codes I am clueless what to do now and where to get it done.

Why are you so keen on erasing the errors?

IMO, the best way to go about it, would be to sort out the REASON for the errors one by one, and then clear the codes.

How did you check for error codes? Is it possible to post a screenshot? That way, what you are trying to convey will be clear.

Thanks Dhanush for replying.
I had gone a regular check up, this time (after 2 years) I got OBD scan done and to my horror it showed 37 errors.
Through the same "Launcher" equipment he tried to erase the codes, although it was doing the process and at the end flashing the "DTCs cleared" but as soon as you re-run the DTC scan they all appearing again.
I am trying to clear the codes because the car is running fine.

Which bluetooth OBD adapter is known to work with ford Ikon 1.3 2002 model? I just got a Galaxy S and would like to try it out with the Bosch fun2drive app.

Guys what should be the ideal reading for TPS and IACV ?
Is it car particular or generic for all.
Mine is Old Honda City.

Thanks!

These readings are car dependent. Also with 30 odd DTC's I really don't think that your car would be working. There is something wrong with the reading process.

Good tip buddy:thumbs up

Get the cheapest of the Ebay website. I got mine ELM 327 Vgate mini v2.1 for 1.5K.

Wired ones are a little more stable than the bluetooth ones I guess.

Anurag.

Just search for ELM 327 bluetooth adaptor in ebay/Amazon.com.

Will cost you ~15-20 USD.

Works like a charm!

Yes, it wiil work on the Figo.

The OBD port is below the steering wheel. You have to open its cover and then plug it in.

As suggested, opened Ebay today & searched for the adapter. Now my questions are:

1. There are n number of sellers, can anyone suggest a good one?

2. If a Tab has USB OTG functionality, can i use the wired adapter directly with the Tab. The torque app seems to have the wired cable facility.

I don't remember having to open a cover in the Figo. The port can be found under the steering column, a little bit towards the right, you can say, in line with the A-pedal

Look for a seller's reputation, and then order one.

I would prefer a Bluetooth dongle to a USB one, for the simple reason that I hate a clutter of wires. The USB connectivity works best with a laptop. Haven't used it with a tab with OTG, so I am not quite sure how the performance would be.

i had purchased the OBDII ELM bluetooth device from DX.com. able to pair with 6789 on my Win7 laptop. but using ScanXL software couldnt connect to the device, my vehicle is Xylo. I even tried with OBDDoctor on my Nokia phone, its not connecting. kindly advise.

thanks,
