Re: Why do cars in India age faster than abroad?

A car is just like a tool. People who abuse their tools and doesn't store them properly wear them out faster.

I think this is one prominent factor why cars in India age faster. Our penchant for the cheapest possible product is one major culprit. Manufacturers know this and provide what the markets wants. Good quality, well built products dry up in the market fast because people flock to the cheaper options. consciousness is missing in the things we build and in the things we buy.

I would like to assign the reason to poor road conditions & huge population density in India.
