nothing beats a mustang

My personal favorites are:

NSX V-6
Porsche air cooled flat six
Fiat 1100 4 cylinder inline
supercharged 390hp 4.6L 32V V8 from the 2003 Mustang Cobra
Mazda 4 cylider inline with sports exhaust.... any application

don't get me started on vintage stuff... the list is endless

Even 50 years ago, those Italians knew how to build a fun to drive econobox with an exotic soundtrack.

I'm waiting for someone to come out with a new version of the formula. Small, economical, responsive, rwd, light, quick, 4 dr sedan, manual gearbox and exotic soundtrack. It needs to make the BMW 3 series feel like a luxury car in comparison. Something like a Mazda MX-5 with 4 doors.

In the meantime, I'll put up with two doors and front wheel drive.
I just ordered a Cooper S with sport package, limited slip and 6 speed manual to keep the 911 and the Miata company in the garage.

My choice would be a Ferrai 430M sounds wonderful at full throttle!

I like the Infiniti G35 Coupe's sound... Its seems like this car has got a surround sound stereo dedicated for the engine and exhaust sound.

well i think for a sports car a TVR sounds good but once on great cars (on discovery channel) they showed a racing car with 16 cylinders direct fuel injection by AUTO UNION claiming to be the best sounding car in the planet

as a road car in india i like the sound of a cielo

I personally love the sound of the Porsche Carerra GT.

Awesome loud growl..... Just makes you wanna floor her.

supercars have a tendency to produce heavy grungy noise ...and one such machine is DODGE VIPER GTS the racing version which supposedly has capacity to rock the floor 100 times more than a super subwoofer ...as reports and evidence are anything to go by its is the loudest car around..so much so that the driver has to plug on earphones to do away with this screamer...

need say more about this heavy duty car....interesting fact here...government of the US banned VIPER GTS-R on the streets ..why? because it scared the **** out of people around ...on that note i think v should end the discussion n round up the results of the poll...clear emerging winner VIPER GTS.....ohh no guys i m just a VIPER freak n would often lay insanity...dont mind..keep on pollin...

quite intimidating on the highways ...
i think the M3 CSL and the Mustang are not loud enough to earn their place on the poll ... the mustang in noway is the loudest car around ...

I wonder how many of you have seen the Top Gear MG SV video. It's got the Mustang 4.6L V8 tuned to 400bhp. Revved hard, it sounds absolutely murderous! Awesome!

d chevelle ss sounds good,
plus the Auston Martin Vantage sounds good.
but i don think any vehicles sound better than the 1960s American Muscle Vehilces. ie 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. . n the likes. these new suprcars sound tooooo refined. . .

as far as my top gear experience goes , ZONDA is the best sounding car , hands down.
