and My stock classic 1967 1600 VW beetle sounds, and my Safari Dicor purrr..
They are gr8 and feel like heaven when i rev them up.
I got a video podcast of an LP640 revving its engine and a race of 2 yellow Gallardos on a New Jersey freeway, these engine sounds are nothing short of pure bliss
The Mercedes SL55 AMG deep growl is awesome as well...

I have never heard any of these cars (most probably). So, I have not voted. But as someone has already said, the Fiat 1100 (Padmini) had a great exhaust note. My completely stock Petra too has a great exhaust note at 4000 rpm and beyond. It sounds serious and able, and I like it better than any stock Indian car upto 1.8 litres. Come to think of it, I like it better than most Indian Cars.
In indian cars, the Ford Mondeo sounds awesome and so does the Honda City VTec. Ive heard a Mustang, SL 55 AMG, Porsche Carrera GT, Cayman S, but the best one ive heard is the Lamborghini Diablo. The sound blows you away.

has anybody heard a shelby cobra ...????? the big blok v-8 revving its bolts out ........... now thats pleasure to your ears ....
the best sounding car i like is saleen s7tt or a fully blown long block v8 and also our very own premier padmini love the sound best part is that it doesnt need any free flows to achieve that sound.
