Most cheap exhausts are designed for horsepower gains and making one for torque gains is a little more difficult.
If you use too wide an exhaust, it will rob you of low end torque(something to do with backpressure).

So in the end dual exiting or single exiting exhaust does not matter, all that matters is the exhaust velocity.
If gas flow area of single and dual are same, you will have same characteristics. Dual/single no difference if velocity is same.

The low end on my lancer is pretty low inspite of custom headers from Automech - how can I increase the torque at lower RPMs ?? I have a 4x2x1 setup for the FFE with a relatively silent exhaust note - the exit pipe is a twin 1.5" as is visible in my gallery. Any suggestions???
