maruti zen starting problem

guys my zen 2001 model di clocked 1,60,000km

..has a wierd starting problem which stared again..before i got the problem i got the heating plugs changed and everything got fine.

Now again that problem started

i took it to my mech ..he checked the heat plugs,starting moter,battery..everything is fine..he says that some FIA or some thing should be overhauled . Did any one got through this problem he says that diesel zens get this problem often ..

VIJAY, i think its high time that you get your zen overhauled.

i think i said the same when it was 1,40,000 km on the odo.

yaa kk even i want it to be done

but my dad dosnt want to spend much money on it....he is planning to buy swift so zen will not be used much

so kkr2k2 here i am ...

i am finally gettin my zen engine overhauled ...only the head of the engine is gettin over hauled ,that means only half engine overhaule .

My mech opened the engine and found that some oil was leaking it seems because of that my zen was having starting trouble in morning times...so he said its better if i get my engine overhauled (only the head of the engine) he quoted me 15k to 20k the work also started will be getting my car this wednesday.

guys can i use synthetic oil in diesel zen and what are the advantages of it..????
