Wonderful dedication to the memory of your late dad.
Thanks alot sir, your compliments mean a lot especially about context of my dad! I sure miss him today.

Pannag,
Recently I asked the mechanic to inspect the booster, he said the booster had gone bad. But I did research online about the booster and it's working. The conclusion was that when the vehicle is turned off and the booster still holds the vacuum inside for days, that means the booster is working properly. I have inspected thoroughly the hose pipe and NRV valve it's all in good condition and working as it should. Moreover, I have inspected the leakage around the brake lines and master cylinder but could not find any such. One thing I observed during the inspection my booster cylinder is Boch whereas the master cylinder is from the KBX brand. It was a little strange for me as these were never changed since the vehicle was bought, how come the manufacturer did not use the same brand for the master cylinder and brake booster?
Just an update it's not that hard to press the pedal, but it's not soft either as compared to other vehicles.
I will attach the pictures for reference. Apologies for the dirty pictures of the vehicle, I took the pictures while I was on a long drive to Shimla and had to take a bad road for traveling, and started raining all of a sudden, so it was a little bit messy. Could not get the time for the car wash.

Re: Maruti Alto Restoration Project with Brotomotiv

sorry for being late, today I installed LED tail lamps from Creative Autoworkx (Jammu). He is very good person, very knowledgable too, perfect execution for enthusiasts looking for awesome ideas on car.

However I need to get smoke film sine by the time it reached me there was slight damage, but as the film was just peelable, I will add it on my own.

No worries I understand you being busy and curious with new stuff.

Anyways these tail lamps look amazing and are matching exactly to your headlights. Looking forward to getting it installed and waiting for the proper video of the same.
I am a bit doubtful about the aftermarket quality of the tail lights, what if with time they start fading or getting yellowish?

Moreover, I have noticed some switch above the right side tail lamp, is that the central locking switch connected to the interior ambient light. If so don't you think over time water might escape through it inside the vehicle somewhere? Either it should be installed on the tailgate itself.
I was planning to install it in the same place earlier but decided to install it on the tailgate by removing the rubber gourmet balancer which is pretty much clean and safe from entering of water and dust into the vehicle.

Thanks man, and Nope they are infact OEM taillamps (can be either Minda or Lumax), they just reused them to fit in the customised led set.

you are so right about that, it looks like Maruti just wanted to fiddle around circumventing switch fitment and found this cheap way. I need to do something about that!!

Well I have done it in a different way on the boot and it looks pretty much neat, I have removed the back door cushion and installed the switch there but wiring through the back door channel was pretty much a huge task.

Finnally I'm back again on the project Alto and made couple of customisation at home, did installed the rear headrest and that looks like from the factory. Even made the rear seat a bit more reclined maybe 2 inches and it makes a huge difference, more comfortable and a bit spacious at rear. Not sure why Suzuki trying to keep the Alto that cheap and budget friendly but not adding or removing very small or unnoticed features or spares from the vehicle.

Here is the exact way I was referring to add the tailgate switch. Laying the wires through the panel was a huge challenge but somehow I managed to do so. And outcome is really neat until the switch itself is of very poor quality and started capturing the rust, will replace this soon.

Re: Maruti Alto Restoration Project with Brotomotiv

Hi Pannag, thank you for sharing all the details. I am also looking to add the rear windshield from Xcite with the defogger. Can you please share the part number for the rear defogger wiring? Also curious to know if you did finally manage to get this mod installed in your Alto.

No man the wiring harness needs to be made custom. I would do it myself and use esp32 which I programmed to control it and other electronics in car.
