I think that's why KP asked if the front bumper was painted as well since the strips were removed.

Yes Vid, they do have a paint booth.

The strip was removed because they were doing rubbing polishing on the entire car. The other strips were covered because panels around it were repainted.

Ok got it.
The door strip was covered with tape for rubbing and polishing and not for any paint work.

Sorry for the confusion.
