technical books is prefered, or service manual of vehcile having them.

Do cars with disc brakes at the back have 'hydraulic brakes' like in rally cars?

Another point of maintenance i believe,Still looking good and rugged too.

Wow - really cool product Viper !

But, how is such a device plumbed into the existing braking circuit ?

There's no brake fluid reservoir & stuff on top of the master cylinder...

Errr... what is this thread all about? I dont see any product posted and everyone seems to be going gaga over something!! Andwhat has viper said here??

Or has this been seperated from some other thread??

Ohh..Ohh something's wrong viper's post is missing and the PIC of the Hydraullic E-brake assembly kit also :(

I think Viper posted something like this in response to SirAlec\'s query...

Am i missing something here!!??

thanks for the quick response people.

@ srini , that was really helpful.
I think this one will engage braking on all four wheels, i need only at the back.

I am interested in this as i am planning to add disc in both swift and 800.

The D2 system can be used for twos wheels or four wheels, but through the same connection, since it is hydraulic system , the first connection on the unit holds the reservoir and the second is used to connect to the brakes.

Hi Guys,

Yes the product is the same as Srini posted. Will put up the installation diagram in the evening.

that would be very helpful.

Bhai one more query. ABS ko to disturb nai karega na???

Hi SirAlec - I understand where you're coming from, I've been looking at rear disk conversions too :) The website mentions that the hydraulic handbrake is meant for locking your rears so that a drift can be initiated, so it is meant to actuate the rears alone. I guess it all depends on how it's plumbed into the existing circuit.

Hi Dinar - How does one connect this into an existing car's braking circuit ? Can I, for example, use a 'T' & splice this into the stock brake line ? Moreover, aren't cars dual-circuit ?

Hi Viper - Thanks a ton :)

Hi Guys,

Giving below 2 diagrams for connection of the hydraulic handbrake system. You have to use either one depending on the brake system present on your car.

Viper

Viper thanks for posting the diagram, one query is does D2 handbrake effects all the 4 wheels? like i see the OE handbrake only effects the rear wheel????
