Replaced my City's Amaron battery after 4 years and 8 months of usage.
Pretty much happy to see all my car batteries lasting more than 4 years!
My Petrol Xcent's battery (Exide from factory) gave up after 3.5 years with 24.5K on the ODO which seems about par for the battery. Replaced it with a Amaron 35 AH battery which has 48 months (24 + 24) warranty.
The OEM battery on my VW Polo TDi lasted 1 year and 2 months. Replaced it with exide later on.
My 4th generation Honda City's OEM SF sonic battery lasted only 1.5 years. Replaced with Amaron and has been running fine for the last 2.5 years.
The OE Amaron battery on my swift Dzire 2013 model gave up a couple of months back. For the last one year, the usage of the car has considerably reduced and I believe that played its part as well. Replaced it with an Amaron again and will see how long this one lasts.
The worst I had was just over a year, and the best five years. The latter was an Amaron 5 year battery in my CivicAT. With two ATs I have to keep jumpers since push starting in a no-no. I had a Santro AT which was happy starting from cold, but was iffy when hot. Finally we traced a weak battery.
I've changed 3 batteries (including OEM) in the 9 years of ownership. Currently using Amaron.
My Petrol Elite i20's OEM battery (Exide) gave up after 44 months with 32K on the ODO. Replaced it with an Amaron Flo 35 AH battery which has 48 months (24 + 24) warranty. Got it by ordering on batterywaledotcom at INR 3400 after the exchange of my old Battery.
My Creta Petrol battery started showing signs of ageing 10 days back. When on full load during night time it gave a blank while cranking twice. Also noticed that the crank is longer.
Has lasted me 3 yrs and 2 months which is fair and i can stretch it another month or so but today ordered AMARON replacement from batterywala.
After discount costing me Rs 4560.
They have promised delivery this afternoon.
My Santro Feb, 2013 (5 years, 8 months) Exide battery has started showing some aging signs. Takes a little longer to crank. But not frequently. Tried to crank with all lights and AC on other day and it worked perfectly. SA mentioned that it has gone weak but still holds some life. May get it replaced soon.
So i am using a Amaron MF battery for about 3 months now in my 3 year old car. However i feel using this battery the cranks after like 1 second while on previous battery i remember the car used to start almost instant after the key twist. Is my new battery already weak or do Amaron batteries work like this only? I recently serviced the car too where the plugs and injectors were both cleaned.
The stock one came with Brio lasted 6 years (little over 65000km) , I was so impressed with its performance I replaced with Amaron again.
The Amaron battery in my Pulsar 180 gave up just after 13 months since last change. So, I have initiated for replacement under Warranty via the retail store from where I purchased it. Now, have gone with a new Amco battery from the same store under the condition that he will take back the replacement Amaron battery and provide me some reasonable price for it.
Surprisingly, this is the 2nd Amaron battery in my 7.5 years old bike where the OEM Exide lasted 3 years 3 months which was replaced with a Amaron which lasted for 3 years 1 month. However, the Amaron which replaced the older one has gave up within 13 months. The FNG whom I contacted for the diagnosis confirmed there is nothing wrong with the electrical components of the bike which would have caused this premature end for the battery.

It might be because of my low running but, somehow my car's battery is still going strong after 6 years and 32,000 kms done. The car cranks up with a flick of the key and everything works fine. The battery has got discharged completely twice due to me leaving headlights on but everything else is good. |
Finally the oem Amaron battery (34B20L) in my Dzire petrol died yesterday after around 6.5 years and 35,000ish kms. Replaced it with Amaron hi Flo battery (42B20L). It comes with 48 months warranty. Costed me Rs.3000/- (exchange discount included).
My wife's Ritz came with factory Amaron battery. It's done 7 years plus and finally showing some signs of weakening. Car has done 65k km.
Absolutely amazing performance clap:
