Screeching noise from tyres/wheels

I have already got done wheel alignment and balancing.It was in the month of March-08.

hi All,

Since the last 3-4 days, I'm getting a screeching sound when I hit the breaks, especially quick ones before a Red light. That's the only time when I hear the sound, irrespective of the road - tar or concrete.
Car is 2014 Swift ZDi - 34.5K on the odo with a servicing with wheel alignment done at 30k kms. It has stock R15's with decent threading still on.

Could it be that the tires have worn out or Tyre pressure or wheel alignment?
