Yes that is correct and the very first step to try resolving this issue if it occured due to tyre rotation in the first place.

@tush

This time, when I went to MASS to replace my ignitor, I asked the SA about the last service in which he rectified the side pulling. He said, he replaced both front struts.
I even got a duplicate bill. If you want the part #, please let me know.

Good thing. If possible share the snap of the part if you happen to have it.

@tush: Please find the details below:

Part Code:

I was not charged for them as it was covered by warranty. I had replaced this in Sai Service MASS, Phugewadi.

I have swift 1.2 which has done 1500 kms( 6months since purchase) the car pulls to left though the steering remains straight. I had shown to maruti service centre and they did wheel balancing but still problem persist . There is a whoosh sound coming from front shocker whenever the car goes over bumps - what could be the problem? please could you help .

Woosh sound is normal, that is the shockers working normal. Have you checked the wheel alignment, for pull to the sides that has to be checked first. Then try rotating tyres and see if it helps.

@jaggu - I had done wheel alignment in MASS but the service center did not rotate the tyres. The whoosh sound was non existent initially when I bought the vehicle but after 1st service the sound become prominent so I showed it to another MASS - the service adviser said that he had cleaned the dirt accumulated in front shocker and for few months whoosh sound was reduced but now the whoosh sound is slightly more pronounced.

As per your advice I will get the tyres rotated and wheel alignment done once again but from an independent wheel alignment specialist .

lastly ,Should I change the stock JK tyres (185/70 R14 )? the tyres are noisy and small stones get embedded in the gap between tyre treads .
Thanks

When I got my Dzire VDI in july 09 the car was pulling to the left. Went to maruti dealer in Whitefield road. And after a few minutes he brings out the car and said it is fixed as pressure was low. I found that a lot of bull as I check pressures regularly. However I did find the pulling to the left reduced but not dissapeared. Next time i checked the tyre pressures I found that the dealer guy had overinflated the left tyre with 4 psi above reccommended pressure.

Anyway during next service got the alignment and rotation done and now the irritating pulling to the left has gone.
