@manim; Just ordered one set. As there is no p&p may get a second set when this arrives. Need one each for both cars.
Must be Aluminium cables at this price.

As I have mentioned before, during the last service they had tightened the armrest hinge, which vastly improved matters. |
Hey dot you too. We never discussed this. I guess we were more interested in solving the mounts issue. Will get the hinges tightened at the next service. Thanks for the input.
Professor, look forward to your feedback on the jumper

I have the same issue too.
I'm thinking of putting a thin sliced transparent rubber bushes(these kind of rubber bushes are used in cupboards & drawers, so that they act as stoppers and reduce the sound when wood & wood meet ;-) )
They are somewhat sticky rubber bushes too...
This should greatly reduce the rattling sound.
I had that nagging issue from the hand rest. I checked and found the culprit in my case. A small rubber bush.
Please check the one circled Green. The one on the right was missing, so I replaced it with a small piece of rubber of the same height - the one circled Red. No more rattles :)
Hope this helps you guys. No amount of tightening anywhere will remove this rattle other than this - Found on my own after suffering for 9 months, 3 service centre visits. A simple bush, which easily gets overlooked, and easy to loose!
Thanks laluks for that brilliant solution.
Was your armrest rattle when fully extended. Or did it always rattle even when pushed back to its normal position?

It was there even at normal position. Though less pronounced at extended since my arm was always on it :)
@laluks: Thanks a ton for this useful piece of information. This is what one calls as 'eye for detail'.
Friends I have got my car fitted with Morimoto H1 Projectors & also Blazer fog lights.
Had got the blazers fitted last week.
Morimotos were fixed yesterday.
As of now, All I can say now is they are just AMAZING.(will write a detailed report later)
After fitting the Mini Morimotos I'm facing some issues, need to take it to HASS. But before that I would like to get clarified here.
Parking lights are not working(front, rear) after the angel eyes(CCFL's are working if connected directly from battery) were connected. Current is not passing from the wires to Parking light.
We checkd the Fuse too, (Fuse #8 below the steering). Fuse if fine
What could be the issue?
Wiring was done perfectly.
Today morning my HU LCD (only LCD display) is not producing proper light, it's way dull(every other interior light is working perfectly), but the moment I put the parking lights switch the LCD display is proper (Parking lights are still not working).
HU is working perfectly, except for the display.
So what could be the problem for both these issues?
I'm very much concerned about the car now.
Note -I'm also puttin up the same post in Auto Lighting thread too
Issue resolved. FUSE BUSTED
While retrofitting We had checked every Fuse in the Fuse box, except for the one which was busted.
Did a thorough recheck once again yesterday late afternoon, found the faulty FUSE & replaced with new.
Everything is working fine.
Shall write a small report later.
A Pic of the Car with CCFL's on.

Hi Sushrutha,
Congrats on the ccfls. You beat me in getting them first :). They look awesome.
Can you give the source where you procured the entire set and the costs ...

That's good to hear, Sushrutha!
The car's front looks appealing with the new headlamps.
I hope you have before/after pictures of the headlamp beam throw in the dark. It would be an instructive comparison for prospective upgraders.
Regards,
spadix
Sushrutha the lights look awesome.
Awaiting some pics in the dark. Actually can't wait to see the full look which i am sure will be spectacular in the evening / night.

Just got it. Looks good, solid connectors. Twin wires (may even be copper) look a bit soft to be single core Aluminium. Also, well packed in a zipppered bag. The bag has a label (SEP CABLU POR X11 RE) in addition to Booster cables in English. Will order a second one today or tomorrow. For petrol cars you do not need 400/500A.
Just tried to order a second set. Price is up to R.579. Still looks to be good value. The pouch says 500A, so maybe his past lot was 400A and he did not edit the post fully.
