I had seen many adverts of agencies offering Paintless Dent Repair services in US. Basically it involves skillful working on the dented panel from the inside surface with special tools to remove dents, so that the external repainting iss not required. This is supposed to be a very effective way to remove small/ medium size dents.

I check with a few service centers I know and no one seemed to be aware.

Any idea if such services are offered by anyone in Mumbai? If yes, has any one the first hand experience?

You bet! Honda in India MUST know it. Paintless Dent Repair...that's what they did to all cars (around 500 stock cars in their factory) damaged by Hail Stones a few years back and sold off as new cars without any price reduction.
They did have quite a few tool kits for paintless dent repair...one of them might have ended up in Patiala.

You mean Honda sold 500 damaged cars after repair as new? Without informing the customers about it?

@ PF

Honda's plant was very much in production at the time of hail storm. And they do store their stock cars out in the open.

Do you know of any one (considering the whole stock was dented) who was told that his new car was dented by hail storm but now it is repaired & sold to him at a lesser price. Honestly, I know of nobody who told me so.

Any coincidence that paintless dent repair tools are still available in Honda's network?

Its a great service to provide and would work well in Mumbai, but unfortunately I still haven't come across anyone that does this.

Never heard about it - I remember reading on this forum that dry ice can be used to remove very small dents - has anyone given it a try???

they use some type of vaccum to bring the dented area back to place

I've seen a demo of these guys Dent Masters - Miracle System at the auto expo this year. I'm pretty sure they can be of some help. You can call up to enquire about the mumbai network.

I guess you are talking about Dry Denting. Not sure about other cities, but in Delhi they can be found for dime a dozen. Good ones are also there of course. But this is something for which you do not need to go to service stations.

I have this system sleeping in a cupboard :D "Pops-a-Dent"

I recently bough Pops-A-Dent off ebay, does anyone here has a story/experience to share about the product. Though I know I am late in asking (already bought the product) but warnings/concerns, if any, might be helpful when I try this over the week-end

Do a google for pops-a-dent reviews - you'd find many plusses and minusses... AFAIK - it works good only on small dents - and can't make them like new - although can reduce the eyesore caused by this dent,

Thanks for the suggestion, however I have already done that, there were mixed reviews but I am looking for some trusted reviews here on team-bhp. Some reviews on foreign websites were as if some dent-removal company was just bad mouthing about the product, there might be some genuine negative reviews, but again I am looking for by some members here
