hi friends can you please tell me all differences between honda city 1.3 and 1.5

well for one the engine. lol: the 1.3 was 93bhp and the 1.5 was 100bhp. apart from that the interiors were different. in the beginning i think only the 1.5 had a tachometer. also the 1.5 had a music system with 4 speakers whereas the 1.3 only had 2 speakers in the front doors. the 1.5 also later got beige interiors with a front armrest. also a minor thing - the 1.5s wheelcaps had bigger holes than the 1.3.

1.3 had a 1300cc engine developing 90bhp
1.5 had a 1500cc engine developing 100.

1.3 had manually adjustable ORVM and 1.5 had electrically adjustable ones.

Other than that, nothing else comes to mind.

I bought a brand new 1.3 DX in May'2003 and there were no front and no rear speakers. :(

anyway to add to above list
1) 1.3 had body color window frame - 1.5 had matt blac
2) 1.3 had black door handle - 1.5 had body color
3) 1.5 had clock , 1.3 did not

1.3DX was just renamed 1.3EXi. Dont think any features were changed.

nope. 1.3 exi was introduced first. then came the 1.3dx and the 1.3exi was discontinued.

The 1.5 also later got beige interiors with a front armrest. Beige started from Type 2. Front arm rest was always there on the 1.5 Type 1+2. The 1.3 type 1+2 do not have an arm rest.

and even the side mirrors came painted black rather than body colour as with the 1.5 and even the door beedings were chrome for 1.5 while for 1.3 it was black. 1.5 - Body colour door handles + ORVMs + Chrome on top of number plate area (Don't know the term).

Door Beadings were black for Type 1 1.3 and 1.5. Type 2 1.5 had body coloured door beading.

the main advantage of 1.5 over 1.3 is the electrical adjustable side mirrors and the engine... ??

I think the battery position was also different in Type 1 and Type 2. Can someone confirm?

Gen 1, Type 1 1.3 cars did not have a Tacho (they were the ones with the non-clear headlamps). Also, all Gen 1 Type 1 cars had grey interiors.

Differences were: Different Wheelcaps, Unpainted Mirrors & Door handles, Different upholstery, No front box, Manual mirrors etc. etc.

can anyone tell me the torque figures of a type 2 ohc 1.5?

Why? Given an option to buy either of the cars... go for the type 2 OHC 1.5! Nothing to beat it...

to add to the differences list:
rear defogger ony in 1.5.
I know type 1 OHC 1.3 didn't have power windows, not sure about type 2 OHC 1.3 though.
lowest model in 1.3 had black bumpers
not sure but i think the extra brake light behind the rear glass was missing in 1.3 as well. Anyone can confirm this?

I have a brochure (printed) of OHC 2003 in which all the specifications are given of all models available at that time.
